Aspect ratio feature is still available for basic shapes like circle, rectangle, etc. To reach it click on a basic shape (rectangle for example) and then click on a gear at the bottom right corner of the rectangle icon.

In new version browser (not flash) is involved in saving files. Most browsers are set up to save files into Download folder without asking a user. It can be changed in browser settings.

Unfortunately old version is deprecated and I can't give you a link to it. In new version algorithm has been changed a little that introduce some randomness in words placement. If you try several times I pretty sure you will get your biggest word placed in the center.

Could you please be more specific:
- What is your operating system and browser?
- What menu item did you click?
- What did you see? (If you send me a screenshot it would be great)

To save your cloud go to "Grab and Share" tab and click on the icon depending on the preferred format. To print it on a paper you can just select "Raster image - PNG 4 MP" and save it as image file. Then print it as any other image.

To add your own custom shape click on the green plus (first shape in the list).

Regarding the improvement - thank you for the suggestion. I'll think about implementing it.

Dear Tagul users!

New HTML5 version of Tagul cloud generator is released.
You can read about it at this blog post.

New HTML5 generator form mimics functionality of old one but some renaming and re-factoring has been done.

It means that some recommendations at the forums (given before May 1 2014) are obsolete. Please don't be confused while reading old forum threads and posts.

There will be a charge for pro version. The amount is not decided yet. It will be monthly or annual charge for using Tagul cloud generator service.

Does it allow you to select an image file?

If yes then it could be related to incorrect image format. You could try another image to check if it is the root cause.

If no then it seems to me that there is some restriction on your machine that prevents flash file selection dialog from showing up.
