There is no offline version of Tagul service.

You don't need codes. You can just type in 'silver' or 'gold' in color picker input field and it will select the color automatically.
Complete list of named colors can be found here.

Try reloading the page. It should work.

When you open your cloud and see something wrong, please:

1) Send me a screenshot and describe what is wrong
2) Advise your operating system and browser (with versions if possible)

Only then I'll have the necessary information to figure out what is wrong.

Tagul always places words without overlapping. What did you mean by overlapping? Words inside words feature? If yes then there is no way to disable it.

I would appreciate if you send me a screenshot of word cloud with overlapping words so I could understand you meant.

There is no direct way to make the original shape less perfect.
But you can try reducing words amount (in Layout section) so the shape won't be filled exactly.

@LoriAAllen, one suggestion for you.
After you pasted the embedding code, opened the page and don't see your cloud please have a look into the page source (from your browser) and make sure the embedding code is there without modifications.

It could be modified by your CMS (e.g. google sites) and therefore you can't see your cloud.
