About WordArt.com

At WordArt.com, we believe that words are more than just a way to communicate - they’re the building blocks of art. Whether it’s a list of a child’s favorite things, the core values of a growing company, or the lyrics to a song that changed your life, we give those words a voice that people can actually see.

Our Mission

Our goal is simple: To make professional-grade graphic design accessible to everyone. You shouldn’t need a degree in digital illustration or a bank-breaking software subscription to create something beautiful. We’ve built a powerful, intuitive word cloud generator that handles the heavy lifting of typography and layout, leaving you free to focus on the fun part - the creativity.

Our Journey: From Tagul to WordArt.com

Every great creation has a story, and ours began in 2009.

2009: The Early Days. We launched originally under the name Tagul. At the time, our primary focus was helping web developers create functional "tag clouds" for their websites.
The Creative Pivot: As our community grew, we noticed something inspiring: people weren’t just using Tagul for websites - they were using it to create gifts, posters, and personal art.
2017: The Evolution. To better reflect this creative spirit, we officially rebranded as WordArt.com in April 2017.
Today: Now home to millions of users worldwide, we continue to innovate, adding more shapes, smarter layouts, and higher-definition formats.

What Makes Us Different?

We aren't just another "randomizer." WordArt.com was built with a "customization first" philosophy:

  • Shapes: Choose from our vast library or upload your own custom silhouette.
  • Fonts: Access a diverse range of styles or bring your own to the party.
  • Colors & Layouts: Every pixel is under your command, ensuring your cloud looks exactly how you envisioned it.
  • High-Quality Exports: From social media posts to large-scale wall art, our high-definition formats ensure your art stays crisp at any size.
