I think the issue is fixed. Could you please try again?

The box remains around the text to tell you that a word is selected and will remain its position and its size during next visualization. You can't remove the box and keep the word selected. To see your cloud without the box just switch to Animation mode.

To be honest I don't understand what confuses you. In edit mode you can select any word and position and size it the way you like. It is the same as before. But now you can also undone some changed if you need to.

Hi! Thank you for letting me know about the issue. It was a defect that just has been fixed. Could you please reload (or open any new) cloud and try again?

Hi Kellie, I've looked at your latest cloud and it indeed has the problem you described. But the root cause is the same that it was created before the update. Probably you duplicated that cloud or your browser fetched the update a little late. Anyway if you click "Reset" button in Edit Mode, visualize your cloud and position the words the way you like they won't be mixed up. Also if you now create a new empty cloud (not duplicate) you won't have that issue.

Hi Kellie, if you visualize it second time are the selected words kept intact?
There was a change recently that fixed inconsistent placement of selected words which has side effects. I.e. all the old word clouds with selected words created before yesterday will be mixed up when visualized again and you need to manually reposition the selected words. But you need to do it only once for old clouds.

The issue was when you selected some words in Edit Mode and then changed the layout or changed the amount of words (in Layout) section then the selected words would be incorrectly placed after the visualization.

Hi Macy, I think you are doing everything correctly. The thing is that yesterday we released another version that fixed the issue with inconsistent placement of selected words which has side effects. I.e. all the old word clouds with selected words created before yesterday will be mixed up when visualized again and you need to manually reposition the selected words. It happens just once only for old clouds. Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Hope you like the undo / redo functionality.

Hi Amy, try to download your word cloud image in PNG format in Download and Share section and then import it into MS Word as any other image.
