Using text as design

Hi
I would like to make a cloud, using custom text as the shape. So either like the 'Sale' cloud on page 2 of the Gallery, or the 'Tagul text' on page 4 of the gallery.

How do I do this?

In any image editing software create an image that contains your text in black on white background. Then use that image as your custom shape in Shapes tab.
