Copying text in as separate words, not phrases

Help. When I paste text in from excel, it all comes up as phrases. How do I treat each of the words as its own? Thanks!

| You need to remove the line breaks from the text you pasted. Otherwise it is considered to be in special CSV format and individual words aren't parsed. | |
