Custom Image

Hi, is there a max. file size for custom images. I've created a file of the number 30 in paint.net - it's = to 29.7 x 21cm A4. When it's imported to Tagul it's like the file is too big and margins are flattening some edges if that makes sense

Hi, Tagul saves your custom image in 600x600 px resolution by default. If you wish bigger resolution, please send to the support email the high resolution image, and I'll replace it in your word cloud. The cloud has to be re-visualized to change the image.

Hi, No that's great, so long as I understand the image size to upload then I'll make sure that the default canvas size for any custom words / pics I create and import are 600x600px. Thanks for the reply Alex

Hi Alex, I am having a similar problem. I have created a simple clip art in photoshop but when I import the image it is too big and the edges are fuzzy not neat as are your images that you provide us. Usually this does not matter as I opt for transparent but I want to use the new feature of the shape behind the words and need the edges to be perfect. Any advice?

Hi MACY1969! If you need better quality for the background image you can export your word cloud in SVG format and then substitute the background image in Inkscape or Illustrator.

Hi Alex, thank you for your reply. Am wondering why the images that you provide for free are perfect though and mine are not. Has something changed re: importing custom shapes as I am having problems with images that I have not created being too big?

The default templates have 1000x1000px resolution as they are heavily optimized. Old custom shapes images have 300x300px (this is probably your case). New custom shape images have 600x600px resolution. Could you please advise the cloud name so I could examine your situation?
