New way of downloading high resolution graphic is absolutely horrible

DANSTE05 Member	Alex, Like I said I have paid for another months subscription. I think Tagul is an amazing site and dont mind paying the new prices. But feel disgruntled that people are stealing the 1mb and already violating your terms, If you could find a way to stop this..that would be perfect.

emma_irwin Member	I use the software to design for customers but I may not get any orders for a couple of months and then get 20 in another month, there is no telling when the orders come so I will have to do the pay per design which works out fairly expensively (I have had to put my prices up to cover this and may now have outpriced myself out of business as there are lots of people out there not buying commercial licenses and selling them really cheaply.)Paying per month is a def no for me as I would be literally throwing my money away. I think it would work if you took off the time limit, so charge for a group of 10, 20, 30, etc etc but to be used in any time frame and then once you've used all your 10 up for example then purchase another 10 or 20. For small business like myself and there are lots of us, this would be a much better option. I do hope you will think about it but do appreciate you are running a business too. Angie1167 Member	@emma_irwin, I agree also. It could be a handful in a week then nothing for an age. I'm sure not everyone who uses this software is churning out hundreds a week, unless it is the 1MB brigade! Removing the time limit would be much more appropriate and user-friendly.

You have all obviously taken advantage of the incredibly generous usage policy up until now and made a decent profit from it - there are other options available to you - you can use generic words to create a draft image and then copy and paste your own text onto it manually - i personally use MS Paint to resize/rotate individual words and amend my clouds that way - it’s free and so straightforward a monkey could use it - the fonts available on this site are standard fonts included on any OS - the time and effort is what counts when creating personalised imagery - using a software product that has taken someone years to build, perfect, promote and host online to churn out 30 images a day at someone else’s expense is just rude! Alex - you have done a great job here - don’t sell yourself short - if people want it they will pay - yes photoshop is a tenner a month but have you ever tried actually using it for this purpose? the revised pricing is only unreasonable for people who use the software to excess for personal gain. the new structure is fair and includes commercial licence. Stock images are charged at a similar price and don’t give the facility to amend colour, size, style etc - for comparison, shutterstock.com currently charges 139.00 for 25 images per month!!! It is rare for the owner of a site to respond directly to customer complaints on the forums and i commend you for this, but this is undoubtedly the best software out there so stick with the pricing and ensure people are paying royalties etc where applicable. keep up the good work!

mossyt Member	I agree with @melanie_mccartney. The pricing is now fair, Alex has responded directly to concerns which is to be applauded and he's listened to his customers. It's a great product and although none of us like to pay more than we did for something, I find it hard to see how people don't think this is good value. Keep up the good work

DavRoz Member	Another question is it counted as per download? I will create a design and send to customer who may often want it changed slightly - is that counted as 2 downloads for the one item?

Alex Key Master	@DavRoz, it is counted per download. If you change a design slightly it will be counted as 2 downloads. To mitigate that send to your customer 1MP PNG version for review. 1MP PNG is not counted as HQ download.
