printing to poster size

I'd like to print a word cloud as a 2'x3'poster. Is the 32MP jpeg high enough resolution for that? I read from FAQs that to print a 4"x6" you need to choose the square geometric shape and then adjust the aspect ratio. Is there a way to print a 0.67 aspect ratio with the word cloud being a different shape?

I don't think 32MP JPEG is suitable to be printed on 2x3ft poster. I recommend you to use SVG instead.

You don't need to follow the FAQ instructions if you want just to print a 4"x6". You need to follow the instructions only if you want your word artwork to be in a rectangular shape with proper dimensions to fit into 4"x6" poster without margins.

You can use any other shape and then print your word artwork on 4"x6" but you will have blank margins around it.

Thanks for this. The printer now tells me that if I have PDF whose page size is 8 1/2 x 11" (found under properties) it will blow up well. If I were to download a PDF from here, do you know what the page size would be?

Hi Christina, PDF dimensions depend on your word art image parameters. I recommend you to download in 32MP PNG and use your image viewing / printing software to position and size image before printing. You can download HQ samples from the pricing page to find out whether they work for you or not.
