Hi Alex, sorry for the delay. Thank you so much for reviewing everything. I need to read your emails carefully and try a few more things, then I will get back to you with results. |

Hi, I used a font to create my "shape", and when I zoom in, it looks very jagged and pixelated along the edges. I want the shape color to show behind the design. I have tried several different methods to create a cleaner image, and nothing is working. I am wondering if the problem is the font itself, or the type of font….or if perhaps the preview is the real issue, and a high quality image would actually be OK. Can you look at the file and see how it will turn out if I download a high quality image? If not, do you have any suggestions? https://wordart.com/edit/q01je26vsvde Thanks |

I read the FAQ about selling our WordArt….but are there any restrictions on giving it away? For example, I made a facebook profile header (SQ). Can I share it with others so they can use it too? |

Yes, just click on "Edit" button i.e., take it out of "animate" mode). Then you can click on a word, then the "Lock" button. Then visualize, and it will stay where it is. The button says "lock" when the word is unlocked, and "unlock" when it's locked. This threw me at first |

Ah, I think I just answered my own question. I used the "CSV format" option when I imported, and it kept the words (including hyphens) together and in order! |

I am using a list of words that includes hyphenated words and some phrases that I want to keep together…and in the order entered. Here is a sampling of the list (German states in the 19th century) Mecklenburg-Schwerin Mecklenburg-Strelitz Oldenburg Sachsen-Weimar-Eisenach Anhalt Braunschweig Sachsen-Altenburg Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha The ones with hyphens are being split into separate words; the ones with "und" are being broken into three words, and the count/weight of e.g. Mecklenberg and Sachsen is higher because they are coming through as repeats of the same word. But I have them in this order for a reason, and I want to keep the order so that I can more easily weight them based on order. I know I can do all this manually, but I'm curious if there's a way to make the import more successful. Thanks! |

Thanks for the quick reply. When I use 999 that fills the M! But then you said "move the define slider to the left" which I first assumed must mean "move it to "keep as is" but that removes most of the words (except the big ones), and M doesn't stay filled. I tried a few other things, but can't figure out how to remove small words without un-filling large portions of the shape. |

I am working on a shape made of letters. The font I am using now has two parts that are rather narrow – the first leg of the M and the second arm of the U. The U fills in completely with a bunch of words. However, the M, starting at the lower left corner, fills in with 1 word at the bottom, then a huge space, then another word, then a space, then finally starts filling the whole thing. The bottom "tip" of the M also doesn't fill, but I can understand that – it's a sharp point, so there's no room. Not a big deal. I've been fiddling with word amount and density, and I've made a little progress, but still the M doesn't fill in like the U does. Any suggestions? The name of the pic is Maurice2. Thanks |

That makes sense. Thank you! |
