You need to change colors in "Colors and Animations" section (not in Table) in order to avoid visualizing cloud.

In order to set all the words to the assigned colors you need to set those colors in Colors and Animations section.

1) To slant a font you need to select any italic font from the list
2) In "Tags source" -> Table section there is second column named weight. The bigger word's weight is the bigger it will be shown in a cloud.

@gemrick you agree with the terms by signing up to Tagul (there is a checkbox for this purposes that you have to check in order to sign up)

Once you signed up you can create a cloud by clicking "Create new cloud" link you "My clouds" page.

If it is merchandising in non-profit purposes then you can use Tagul clouds for free.

@dawnrandle the word/tag with biggest weight (second column in "Tags source" -> Table section) is placed in the middle of a cloud.
Please make sure the word you want to be in the center has the biggest weight.

You can share your login and password with your class if you like. Then you may ask every student to create a cloud and name it appropriately.

Currently there is no way to put your clouds in Tagul gallery but I am planning to implement this feature in near future.

Just use input someones name in "Tags source" -> Table and visualize your cloud.

It looks like the problem is in your flash player. Could you please check that your flash is up to date? You need at least 11.1 version to use Tagul.

1) Your tree wording cam out all black probably because of "Custom shape colors" check box (in "Colors and Animations" section) was checked. Try unchecking it and visualize your cloud.

2) Regarding more shapes. I absolutely agree with you that it is needed to add more shapes. I am currently working on a complete re-write of cloud form to HTML5 platform and I will add more shapes there. I hope to release it in March/April. So please stay tuned.

3) Colored shapes allows you to select colored (non black and white) images as your cloud shape and your words will be colored in shape's colors. Just find a colored image and try it as your cloud shape and you will understand how it works.
