Hi! Is there a way to import a list of words and having them combined by lexical stem? For example: Creative Creativity And being considered the same word (we could choose which one?) Thanks! |

Hi, it is done by default. There is the "stemming" checkbox in the text import dialog that controls it. If you import "creative creativity creative creativity" text you will see that it will be combined into "creative" with size (amount of repetitions) 4. The shortest word with a same stem is added to the words list. In your case it is "creative". |

Thanks for the answer Alex. I've noticed that feature and tried to use it, but had no success. But apparently if you import the words as a plain sentence instead of a list, it works.. Basically, having "creative creativity creative creativity" you'll get 4 creative. But if you import creative creativity creative creativity it gives a different result. Any ideas why? Thanks! |

It is because the text you import is considered to be in special CSV format and the stemming is not applied. It happens because you place each word on a separate line. |
