New version! Doesnt allow me to do half the things i used to!

Finding the new version pretty rubbish, it wont allow me to change fonts for certain words and to make words larger & variable angles with the specific font,its all mixed up.old version was much easier to use !

New version has the same functionality as the old one.
As before you can specify font, color and rotation angle for any particular word in the table. I've just checked the functionality and it works fine.

Could you please:
1) Tell me what Operating System and Browser you are using (with versions)
2) Send me some screenshots describing what you do, what you see and what you expect to see.

hi ive emailed u the screen shots via the support account

I cannot seem to get this new version to do anything for me.
It just "hangs" every time I go to "visualise". It says - preparing - but nothing happens. I click on the close button and return to the main screen.
Not sure what I am missing but it causing me huge frustrations - any guidance would be greatly welcomed!!

In the previous version of the software the relative sizes function seemed to also control how often a word was repeated. For instance, if I set a word/phrase to be the highest level/weight it would appear only one, very large, like a banner. Now, even if I set the level/weight much higher than the other words it will repeat randomly throughout the design.

Also, is there any way to get to the old color choice menu? This new way to choose colors does create a lot of extra colors, I get that, but it makes it much harder to select the same color repeatedly.

Let's not mix up relative sizes and words duplication which is controlled by "Words amount" checkboxes and slider. Relative sizes has nothing to do with duplication. To make a word/phrase to be the biggest in cloud you need to assign the highest weight/size to it in Words table and make sure that "Keep as is" or "Maximize" is selected for "Words relative size" in Layout section.

Regarding color choice menu. To be honest I don't understand your problem. Color menu works the same way it worked in the old version. Could you please elaborate what you meant under "select the same color repeatedly"?

In the old version when you wanted to select a text color a drop down box appeared where each color was in a discreet box and could easily be clicked. In the new version, on my computer anyway, the drop down color menu is a continuum of colors and it is difficult to select the same color you selected for another word.

I am not mixing up the terms, I am trying to say that in the previous version when I set an item as the "biggest" word it did not repeat in the rest of the shape. Now it does repeat all over the shape. This is a problem for me because I want to make this particular word a different color.

I will try again using your suggestions of the "keep as is" and "maximize" functions.

I got your point regarding color picker. At the moment the only way to select the same color is to copy&paste its code. I agree it is less convenient that it was before and I'll think how to improve it in future.

Regarding repeating the biggest word. I think this should be fixed now (no words are repeated with the same font, color, angles). Please press CTRL+F5 to completely refresh the page after you open Tagul generator to get the latest version and check it out.
