Hi,
Does it have to have a transparent background? Your shape image doesn't have to have a transparent background. Words are placed on non-white space by default.
I tried to upload one just that wasn’t transparent and when I pressed visualise the words were just in a square covering the whole image It may happen if you set the threshold parameter to 100% when adding your image thus keeping all white space for words to fill. Please try uploading your shape image again and setting the threshold parameter to 80% to remove the white space around your image.
