HELP NEWBIE!!

i just discovered this website and I love it but I can't figure out what I am doing wrong :(
I DL'ed my own image and put the words in but my image looks like its gone and just the words are floating around (sorta in the image style) if that makes sense.....how can I get my image to look more bolder
