svg not opening in Illustrator

I am using Illustrator CS6. When I save my cloud as .svg, then open it in Illustrator, the shape is gone and the text is all over the place. Can you advise? |

Please try using inkscape and then export into EPS that can be opened by Illustrator. Please read this faq entry on how to do it. |
