Moving word to foreground

In the edit mode, how do you select a word and bring it to the foreground. Right now it seems to be hidden behind a lot of smaller words.

There is no way to move a word to the foreground in Edit mode.
If a word is hidden by other words the only way to select it is to temporarily move other words to another location, select the word and then move them back.
